Sediment and density logger

The sediment/suspended load logger measures the weight of a water column in situ of a physically specified length compared with a reference with an accuracy of about less than 50 ppm. Applications are transport of sediment/suspended load by water flow, bed load transport and solutions in water like salt, pollution in combination with suspended load etc., all depending the used reference. The logger is identical to the already existing one except for the sensor and sensor range. Installation costs are nihil, maintenance almost not necessary.
The sensor is of a quite revolutionary new design and very small, 15 by 5cm inclusive the housing. The sediment/suspended load logger is assembled in the operational form and the tests where also successful. Test in the sand gutter (open channel for sediment transport tests) of "Delft Hydraulics" where surprisingly good
