Often it can be a major problem to process the amount of hydrological
data generated by data loggers, the data length can easily exceed the maximum
size of a column in a spreadsheet. Even if the data fits in a spreadsheet
a simple calculation can take a long time, the data is normally displayed
as numbers which makes it difficult to get a good overview of your measurements.
By using the TLDE program all these shortcomings can be overcome. The TLDE program displays the data graphically and many data sets can be loaded into one chart so data can be easily analyzed. With the zoom function each detail can be shown. Data can be imported and exported from ASCII files so that existing data or data retrieved from other instruments can be combined with logger data. A separate program, TirtaLog Control, is included to retrieve the data from the logger.
Data can be easily organized and documented since all the data for a project can be stored in one file, a description and an image can be added to each graph. Several processing functions like resampling smoothing, merging, moving, and subtracting can be applied fast and easy. A powerful macro language is provided to manipulate and calculate data. For presentation purposes you can add text and markers.
The TirtaLog Software (TLS) can be downloaded for update of your current copy or trial.
Depending the size of your data set a Pentium 200Mhz computer is recommended with 32 Mb of RAM. TLDE runs under Microsoft Windows 9x, ME, NT4, 2000, XP.
